The New iPhone?

Hello techie boys and girls, this is your mac guru here to talk about the rumors of the iPhone 5 (or will they, like the new iPad, call it the new iPhone?) and it's forthcoming debut in September. Now Apple has always had a penchant for bringing new tech to the marketplace around the same time that parents are sending their young ones off to High School or College ( in a vain attempt to give them the hint that it's time to hit the bricks...now!!!), and this year is no different. Now, there's been alot of talk about what the iPhone will look like. Some say it will look like the old 3GS (due to reports that the 4/4s style was too hard to hold for long talks in the WiFi light), others say it will be a combination of the 4 with some input from android devices (rounded curves, flat backs, and no glass back that can shatter at the drop of a hat.) I think that when it debuts, there will be alot of people claiming they knew it all along, but didn't have a clue. I'm looking forward to seeing what the inside will behave like, and I think that an 8-core processor is not long down the road. September's show will also debut the new, smaller (7") iPad. The new smaller size is probably an attempt to compete with the flurry of 7" Android tablets and the new larger phones. Well, since Apple already had the market wrapped up (68% market share, worldwide, at last count), I don't see the need for apple to try to compete, as there doesn't seem to be any competition at this time. Well only the future will tell us what's in store for the iPhone & iPad, but i'll tell you now that the future looks good.

Here's the new Mac OS X: Mountain Lion

Well it was about time to let it loose, and now here it is. What We Know About OS X Mountain Lion So Far http://shar.es/gbUUV

Helpdesk Blues

WELL,

As I now sit in my office, four months into my gig at this lovely hotel, I discover that everything I once feared was crap. I have discovered that my skills are better than i give myself credit for (how much certification do you need to reboot a tv?), and my people skills are fantastic (if you call eating in the cafeteria alone  fantastic). I still can't help but wonder why I can't push myself to move further in my career than where I already am. The materials are open to me, just the time and motivation is not. It's really funny when you think about it, i can try to become anytghing I want but all I want to do when I get home is watch "Law & Order" and make smoothies (gotta use peanut butter of course. yum!). I wake up every morning to study Net+, but I can't get out of bed (now mind you 6 am IS a little early, is it not?), then when I get to work I have almost no time to get to study. What a quandry this is. Well, almost time to check out, so I will close this down until tomorrow. Later...

I'm feeling quite transitional today. I've ended one chapter in my life, and am preparing to start another. The more i experience in this field, the more I believe in a purpose. Learning is not enough, you must push your limits in order to find them, to know what you are capable of. Each of us must dig down deep into that secret place each of us has and push ourselves to evolve to another level of experience and understanding, of knowing what our place in the Universe truly is. In other words, get off your a** and get to work.
